MORE CENSORSHIP BY THE MURDOCH MEDIA
My paid-subscriber comment today (in italics below) was rejected by their moderators, under the story:
Trump to Netanyahu: Iran talks continue, deal is my ‘preference’
by Joe Kelly in Washington
(The Australian digital edition, February 12, 2026)
Note: all the comments that did get through the moderation system under this story were all quite vacuous & echoing the propaganda tropes like “mad mullahs” etc.
Here’s a smattering of comments that got published under the story:
“So much for helping the Iranian people. Time to take out the leaders and free the citizens”
“Anybody who makes a deal with Iran just gives the medieval mullahs time to rearm and reorganise. The Iranian people want them gone as do surrounding Middle East countries.”
“If only the Iranian people could vote. The majority wish to live and let live. Only Dictators love war.”
“An anti-regime uprising in Iran which led to the deaths of thousands of protesters and saw the US President threaten the ayatollahs directly by promising to help the demonstrators. Still waiting for Trump to honor his promise to the Iranian protesters to help them.”
. . . so on and so forth.

Here’s the rejected comment:
I have just listened to a detailed interview of ex US Marine, ex weapons inspector and military analyst Scott Ritter. I am just posting my take-aways here in the spirit of dialogue. It is important for readers to at least know of the arguments of the other side of America-first opinion even if they see things differently. There is a significant and intelligent debate going on in alternative media, whereas for some reason mainstream media has become an echo-chamber of confirmation bias: the regime in Tehran is an evil dictatorship and so must be overturned for no other reason, to liberate the good people of Iran. That’s how it goes, everybody knows. There is no debate but only consensus that the government of Iran must be replaced by military means - much like our attitude to the government of Germany in 1942. It is important to listen and think rationally in order to avoid a regional war in the Middle East.
Notes from Ritter interview today
* Trump is not the ‘president’ of the USA
* The USA under Trump has in effect killed the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty. That is a tragedy for mankind.
* There are no negotiations with Iran
* Regime change in Iran is the only strategy of USA-Israel: all the rest is deception
* America is not a democracy, it is run by money. Iran is more of a democracy.
* Iran being a large and technically accomplished nation, is the primary obstacle to the Greater Israel Project. That is why regime change is the only option for Israel
* The Israel Lobby in America has captured Congress with money. This explains why Netanyahu received 33 standing ovations when he gave an address to a joint sitting of Congress on 23 July 2024 during the worst of the mass killing and mass destruction of Gaza
* Trump (the man) is an ignorant narcissist surrounded by ideologues who want regime change in Iran in line with the Likud-Netanyahu Greater Israel Project

2nd attempt unsuccessful. . .
I tried to get the comments published by toning down the language, removing references to Scott Ritter, and generally trying to appear more reasonable and rational.
But I could not fool the moderators. This amended comment (italics below) never saw the light of day to at least provide some balance to all the agents of those “powerful forces” in Australia that shall not be specified more accurately to avoid accusations of antisemitism or hate speech

It is important for readers to at least know of the arguments of the other side even if they see things differently. It is important to at least listen to the ideas of the other side of the debate and think rationally in order to avoid a regional war in the Middle East. This war could lead to World War 3 between the BRICS and the American empire. Aristotle said it is the mark of an educated mind to entertain ideas without necessarily accepting them.
So here is a summary of alternative ideas
* Trump is not behaving like the ‘president’ of the USA, constitutionally speaking
* The USA under Trump 2.0 has in effect killed the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty. That is a tragedy for mankind.
* There are no ‘negotiations’ with Iran, in the strict meaning of the term.
* ‘Regime change’ in Iran is the only strategy of USA-Israel: all the rest is deception
* America is not a true democracy, it is run by money. Iran is more of a democracy. The Supreme Leader can be compared to the King of England.
* Iran being a large and technically accomplished nation, is the primary obstacle to the ‘Greater Israel Project’.
* Trump (the man) is an egomaniac who uses mafia language (“deal” instead of “treaty”) and is surrounded by ideologues who want regime change in Iran in line with the Likud-Netanyahu policy agenda
These comments are made under this story to provide balance and to stimulate critical thinking.
3rd attempt successful.
Wonders will never cease.
As I’ve discover by lived experience, it’s a trial-by-error exercise to get a pro-Iran or pro-Palestine subscriber comment published in The Australian digital edition.
This 3rd attempt (in italics below) - done by making radical edits & alterations to the failed 2nd attempt - was approved for publication by the Mossad Moderators or AI system of control over content.

It is important to at least listen to the ideas of the other side of the debate about Iran and think rationally in order to avoid a regional war in the Middle East. This war could lead to a global war between the BRICS powers that want a multipolar world based on peaceful coexistence, and the American superpower that has not accepted this approach and wants a unipolar world as we experienced after the fall of the Soviet Union. Iran is an important and integral member of BRICS. Iran is not Venezuela. It is fighting for it’s very existence and so any military attack by the USA aided and abetted by Israel will me met with an all-out response from Iran on all US bases surrounding Iran, and a devastating attack on Israel with hypersonic missiles, not to mention closure of the Straight of Hormuz leading a great and unacceptable threat to the world economy. I hope the USA-Israel military think twice before dropping bombs on the Iranian people.
